Cosy Conversations
Published 1 year, 4 months ago in My life.A good place to meet, greet and have a ’shmooze’ is one that has the special ambience giving the place a spatial feeling and a sense of realism, style and particular environment. One place like this is Whyte Cafe Bar in GlenHuntly.
I am always looking for such places. Do you have a place you like to meet your family, friends and colleagues for a ’shmooze’?
Oh, and there is good food too @ Whyte Cafe Bar.

Hello cosy place, as a Siberian Husky, i love to go to what my human dad calls retarding basins. Lots of open space for chasing small dogs, and they also have lakes that have ducks. I havent caught any yet, and i don’t know what i would do if i got one…
Shadowmaste advises that it is good for him, as he gets to socialise me with other dogs (whatever that means) and he gets to talk to human beings.

What is a “shmooze” ????
Hi ‘winnierose’, just found out from WordNet:
as a verb - shmooze, shmoose, schmooze, schmoose, jawbone (talk idly or casually and in a friendly way); and
as a noun - shmooze ((Yiddish) a warm heart-to-heart talk)
That clarified it for both of us, I think.
Do you know of such a place? Always on a look out for something like that.
Usually having dinner with friends or a movie night is a good shmooze

I’m all the wiser for posting on nook. i know lots of coffee places, probably to many too mention, but instead of spatial and a sense of realism, I like cosy, warm, and a touch of the whimsical. there is a gorgeous old bank in yarra glen that serves a great coffee and has wonderful ambience,with an open fireplace. Choclate dragon fly in the basin, is cosy for a SChMOOZE..LOL But if you like spatial- enriks in blackburn is that and cake………wow !! And for all that and more, I love Kofi Beans in Croydon, it is a morrocon theme, very relaxed and great coffee.
